Leader Masking Silicone T-Plugs (also known as Flanged Plugs or Washer Plugs) are the professional’s choice when you need to mask a hole AND the immediate surface area surrounding it.
Unlike standard tapered plugs that fit flush or inside the hole, T-Plugs sit on top. The “T” shaped flange acts as a built-in washer. This is critical for parts that require Electrical Grounding (Earthing) after powder coating, as it leaves a clean, paint-free ring for contact.

How to Choose the Right T-Plug?

Match the Insert (D1): The Insert Diameter (D1) should be slightly smaller (about 0.2-0.5mm) than your hole diameter for a push fit, or slightly larger if the plug is flexible, depending on the tightness required.

Check the Flange (D2): Ensure the Flange Diameter (D2) is large enough to cover the area you want to keep paint-free (grounding area).
