When you need to mask a bolt, stud, or pin, Leader Masking Silicone End Caps are the industry standard solution. Unlike tape which is time-consuming to apply and remove, silicone caps slide on in seconds and peel off instantly after curing.

Engineered for the Powder Coating and E-Coating industries, these caps withstand extreme heat and chemical exposure. Their natural elasticity allows them to grip the part firmly, ensuring they do not blow off during air-cleaning or fall off in turbulent immersion tanks.

📏 How to Choose the Right Cap Size?

Selecting the correct size is critical to prevent the cap from falling off.

1. Measure the Diameter of the stud or pin you need to mask.

2. Select a cap with an Inner Diameter (ID) that is roughly 5% to 15% smaller than your stud diameter.

   • Example: If your stud is 10mm, do NOT choose a 10mm cap. Choose a 9.5mm cap.

3. The silicone will stretch to fit, creating a tight seal.
